| 1967...a time of changes....A war was being waged in a little country across the Pacific, a place called Vietnam. Not much was known about this tiny Asian country other than "there was a Communist threat" and we, as a nation were bound to preserve the freedom of the people that lived there. As the war evolved the Draft was re-instated, and many young people rather than waiting to be called, enlisted in the service of their choice.... Goodbyes were said, not knowing if each was the last goodbye... this is the story of one of them.... |
