I Want To Hold Your Hand
The Beatles

Oh yeh, I’ll tell you something,
I think you’ll understand,
Then I’ll say that something,
I wanna hold your hand,
I wanna hold your hand,
I wanna hold your hand.

Oh please say to me
You’ll let me be your man,
And please say to me,
You’ll let me hold your hand,
Now let me hold your hand,
I wanna hold your hand.

And when I touch you
I feel happy inside,
It’s such a feeling
That my love I can’t hide,
I can’t hide, I can’t hide.

Yeh, you got that something,
I think you’ll understand,
When I feel that something,
I wanna hold your hand,
I wanna hold your hand,
I wanna hold your hand.

And when I touch you
I feel happy inside,
It’s such a feeling
That my love I can’t hide,
I can’t hide, I can’t hide.

Yeh, you got that something,
I think you’ll understand,
When I feel that something,
I wanna hold your hand,
I wanna hold your hand,
I wanna hold your hand.
I was in the kitchen, late October of 1963, when this sound like nothing I had ever heard before came on the radio......"oh yeah, I'll tell you something...."    The accent.....the beat...
the theme.....it was so different.  I couldn't wait until the next time it was played....the Boys from England had arrived!  And with them came what is now known as "The British Invasion" and the world of rock and roll was forever changed.

Everyone had their "favorite" Beatle...mine was Ringo.  He was always a bit of a comic and seemed to be a little more shy than the others...

Their hair was "long"...they wore totally cool outfits....They were the Fab Four, and I haven't seen anything like them since....Even the transformations they went through during years they were together  were interesting to watch.......When they split as a group I felt that the music world lost a little something special.  But they were awesome while they lasted!

And....John Lennon.  What can I say....we will miss you, John.  You had so many songs left to share......and another sad note of passing, George, also is no longer with us.  Carry on, Paul and Ringo...
Or....Have a go at Home
